Cloud Architect
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Deep technical skills in infrastructure, software architecture, and cloud computing
- Customer-facing skills, ideally gained in presales or consultancy roles, allow them to represent Azure Cloud to customers.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges.
- Awareness of technology trends and how they impact the way businesses consume IT.
Job Overview
- Support the Business development team to help formulate a strategy to help the adoption of Azure within the focus industry verticals.
- Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services following the principles of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Help educate enterprise customers on the value proposition of Azure, and AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Help provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Azure.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support. Design enterprise cloud technical strategy
- Define and document cloud solution architecture(s) including technical designs and diagrams. Design and deploy dynamically scalable and highly available services on the Azure platform.
- Build and deploy production systems in Azure Design cloud network connectivity architecture. Handling a team of 4 – 5 cloud consultants.
Technical Knowledge
- Good experience on Azure Infra level.
- Basic experience configuring and deploying applications in Amazon Cloud using features such as Elasticache, Redshift, Lamda, API Gateway
- Experience with Amazon APIs for integration
- Experience with IAAS, PAAS SAAS Services.
- Good Experience in CAF and Azure Architected framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
- 8+yrs of IT experience.
- 5+yrs of Experience on Azure
- Good Experience on Azure Infrastructure, Deployments, Migrations.
- Good Hands on Experience on IAAS, PAAS, SAAS Services.
- Good Experience on End to End Azure Architecture designing support deployment and migrations.
- Good Experience on Team Handling.
- Good Experience on AWS Technology will be an added advantage.
- Certified Az-301, Az-300 will be an added advantage.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience implementing Azure including Azure and AWS services.
- Strong knowledge of leading-edge technologies, tools, and software and services vendors
- 7+years of proven consulting experience
- Extensive work experience in a client delivery role with direct client interaction
- Good experience on Azure Infra level.
- Good experience in designing architecture and architecture diagrams.
Experience Required: 7 plus years.
Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology.
Certification required – AZ – 300, AZ – 301, AZ – 303, AZ – 304
