Responsibilities:
1. App Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps. This includes creating apps from scratch or modifying existing ones to meet business requirements.
2. Integration: Integrate Power Apps with various data sources, including Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party APIs.
3. Customization: Customize user interfaces and functionality using Power Apps formulas, custom connectors, and Power Automate for workflow automation.
4. Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure they are robust, efficient, and free of errors.
5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of app development processes, including design specifications and user guides.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements and ensure the applications meet their needs.
7. Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Essential Skills:
1. Technical Proficiency:
o Power Apps: In-depth knowledge of canvas apps, model-driven apps, and portals.
o Power Automate: Ability to design and implement workflows and automation processes.
o Dataverse: Understanding of how to work with Dataverse for data storage and management.
o Development Languages: Experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, and/or other relevant scripting languages.
o Integration Skills: Familiarity with integrating Power Apps with various data sources and services.
2. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve complex issues related to app development and deployment.
3. User Experience (UX): Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and ensure a smooth user experience.
4. Project Management: Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. Communication: Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with tea members, stakeholders, and end users.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Experience: 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying Power Apps solutions.
2. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate can be beneficial.
3. Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience Required: 3 – 5 years.
Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology.
